Solar Installation

Gracelands appreciates the need for you to have one point of contact so we will advise you of the name and contact details of our Solar Installation Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the installation of your solar system.

It is likely that scaffolding will be required and we will advise you of this at the time of your survey, and as it will be necessary for us to erect the scaffolding one or two days in advance of your installation date.  All scaffolding will be removed just as soon as is practical to do so after installation.

Our Solar Installation Manager will co-ordinate all tradesmen required on-site to ensure minimum disruption to you and to ensure only permitted staff have access to your home.  Tradesmen will include the solar installers, electricians, plumbers and potentially other building tradesmen if associated building works are required. 

Where it is necessary to switch off power and/or other services to your home, we will advise you in advance and will respect any specific needs you may have with regards to access to services, so as to ensure that you remain comfortable, and can move freely around, your own home. At the end of each day your home will be left clean and tidy and all utilities will be reconnected.

Should it be necessary, for whatever reason, to extend the time needed to carry out the installation, we will advise you just as soon as this becomes apparent to us.

Once the work is complete, Gracelands will quality control check the installation to ensure your system has been correctly installed to the Manufacturer’s guidelines.  Once we are satisfied, we will confirm the commissioning and sign-off of your system with you and prepare all appropriate documentation and registrations for you.  The necessary certificates will be sent to you within 2-3 working days following completion and commissioning of your solar system.
