Project Management

In addition to providing day-to-day gas and electrical services to its customers, Gracelands successfully manages ad hoc project works on their behalf.  Our customers trust us to carry out the required works in accordance with project specifications safe in the knowledge that we will do an excellent job, completed on time and within budget.

To support us we have the in-house technical expertise and experience of our Management Team to produce detailed system design and equipment specifications for gas heating, solar and electrical systems.  Our technical managers are experienced in planning, organizing, securing and managing all applicable resources to ensure that we meet our customer’s project goals and achieve added value.  Our professionally qualified and highly skilled Operatives produce quality workmanship that is guaranteed, as our standard, for a period of two years from completion of works.

When undertaking a project we assess the potential risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies ensuring that any unforeseen or sudden hurdles and challenges encountered are quickly overcome.

For all project works we will assign a dedicated Project Manager who will coordinate the engagement and onsite attendance of all trades and crafts; ensuring operational efficiencies and avoidance of waste whilst minimizing disruption to residents.

We also take on responsibility for the financial management and cost variance reporting of the project, implementing cost approval and reporting procedures and facilitating project progress review meetings with the customer as and when required.

For our local authority and social housing customers, Gracelands works proactively with residents and will appoint a Resident Liaison Officer, where appropriate, to ensure the timely availability and communication of project progress related information.
